Still buzzing from Web Summit 2015
If you’re anything like us you are still buzzing from Web Summit 2015 in Dublin. It was exciting to see so much innovation and it was great to meet so many inspiring people.
We would like to thank our event partner, US Commercial Service, whose Select USA programme helps entrepreneurs get the resources needed to venture into the US. Special thanks to Gus Franklyn-Bute from the US Embassy in London and all our US Embassy colleagues who were at the event.
It was no surprise to hear that so many businesses have expansion goals that include the United States and to meet the investors seeking them out. The American market can be a potential game changer for many start ups, but the tax system is complex and special planning is needed. The best decision that can be made is to get advice BEFORE any plans are finalised.
Our own Nora Rothrock was on stage, joined by Alicia Yaffe from The Spellbound Group, speaking at the Music Summit on the impact of the digital world. Nora’s background in digital media landed her an invitation to speak in not one but two Web Summit 2015 sessions.
If you haven’t done so already, download our brochure for entrepreneurs and investors, which highlights what to consider to allow the focus to remain on gaining traction in the US market. We are happy to provide a complimentary consultation for additional information. Get in touch to discuss.
Lastly, we cannot post without sending our congratulations once again to our smart watch winners, Janna Barstow from ProdPad and Boris Petrenj from Agrishares. Hopefully, you are reading our blog on them!
We look forward Web Summit 2016 in Lisbon.
