PRIVATE CLIENT TAX ASSOCIATE ROLE
The role –As a US/UK Tax Associate within our Private Client Group, you will join our Early Careers program, designed for new entrants to the profession – mainly recent graduates with a 2.1 grade and up to six months’ experience. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and support to gain relevant professional qualifications while assisting in the delivery of US and US/UK tax services for clients with complex, multi-jurisdictional and trust considerations.
You will prepare calculations and documentation for various US/UK tax forms and returns, gather data for correspondence with clients and tax authorities, and develop your technical knowledge and advisory skills. You’ll also use specialist software to manage your time and track budgets, and work closely with senior team members on meaningful client work. You’ll have opportunities to attend meetings and industry events, helping you build both your professional network and your understanding of the tax advisory environment.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote working with time in our centrally located London office.
About You:

You are likely to be:
- A recent graduate (min 2:1 predicted grade), supported by strong academic results at A Levels (min 3 A levels at grade B) and English and Maths GCSE (min grade 5). You will be required to provide documentary evidence of your grades.
- New to the profession or with up to six months’ experience in a professional setting
- Eager to build a career in international tax and advisory services

You will be supported by a team of experienced managers who have received externally accredited coaching training and are committed to a coaching culture where psychological safety is paramount.
Application Process
For the 2026 intake, we will be working in partnership with Graduate Recruitment Bureau, a specialist agency with a 30-year track record in this field and access to a talent pool of over 1.5 million candidates.
Any direct candidates will be subject to the same selection process, once they go through the initial shortlisting, including the use of psychometric assessments, before they are considered for the technical assessments phase.
You will need to meet UK legal working requirements (applications from EU/EFTA nationals currently with no UK resident status, and from other Third-Party nationals will not be considered).
Assessments will take place in the second half of April and will include:
- Group assessments (focusing on key skills required for the role, exploring how you approach tasks and interact with others)
- Final interview with a 3-person panel (an opportunity for us to get to know you better and for you to demonstrate how your experience, skills, and approach align with the role and our team)
You will also be invited to our London office to meet some of your potential colleagues and get a feel for our working environment.
