The IRS is continually working on improving the security of your digital data held in their systems in an effort to prevent identity theft. identity-theft-thumb

Together with state tax administrators and the  private tax industry, the IRS has launched a public awareness campaign with tips on how you can help prevent identity theft at home as well.  YouTube videos and weekly tips on how to protect your passwords, keep your documents secure and avoid malware on your computer are further explained in this announcement.
